Deciding to be an artist as my career was a very easy decision. In high school my assignments would always get turned
in with a wide assortment of doodles in the margins, from portraits of people sitting near me to whatever animal I had been studying about.
I have been drawing like that since I was a very small child, in fact to this day you'll rarely catch me without
my sketchbook and a pencil.
When I was fourteen my dad introduced me to screen printing. I instantly loved the process and began creating
my own designs for T-shirts. After working as a screen printer for about 5 years I decided to go to college with graphic design as my major.
I joined every art club the school had, and was soon chosen to be the official artist for each club. Soon I changed my major to Illustration,
as my talents are best suited for drafting and painting, though I still excel at and enjoy graphic design.
During my college years I worked as a marketing consultant and found my creativity a major asset in the field. I have worked with several companies
and individual clients from stock brokers to manufacturers. During my years in marketing I have learned which methods and mediums are best suited
for reaching the target audience. I am currently working as the marketing director at Coldwell Banker Advantage.
When I'm not drawing or painting I can be found in the mountains hiking, camping and rock climbing. I have always been interested in studying
nature and am a zoology hobbyist.
